These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the PicPlop website and services. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. About PicPlop

PicPlop is a digital service providing QR-code-enabled photo and video sharing galleries for events.

2. Legal Capacity

You must be aged 18 or over and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using PicPlop, purchasing a package, scanning a QR code, or uploading content, you agree to these Terms.

4. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

5. The PicPlop Service

PicPlop provides a time-limited digital gallery that allows guests to upload photos and videos via a QR code. Service features, upload limits, and gallery duration depend on the package purchased.

6. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure a reliable and fair service for all users, fair usage limits apply.

Max 400 guests per gallery.
PicPlop Essentials – 200GB storage, PicPlop Plus 300GB storage per gallery, PicPlop Luxe 400GB storage per gallery.
All galleries must be used within two years of your first event date.

Fair usage limits are not intended to restrict normal use. However, usage that is excessive, abusive, or inconsistent with typical event use may be reviewed. In such cases, PicPlop may contact the event host to discuss available options, including temporary limits or additional storage.

PicPlop reserves the right to apply reasonable limits where necessary to protect platform performance, security, and service quality for all users.

7. Payments

All prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. Payments are one-off fees per event. PicPlop does not offer subscriptions, lending, escrow, or financial services.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

We want you to be happy with PicPlop. This section explains your cancellation and refund rights for our one-off, per-event digital packages.

Your 14-day cancellation right

Because PicPlop is a paid digital service, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund, without giving a reason.

Starting your gallery straight away

If you ask us to make your gallery available before the 14-day period ends, we will ask you to confirm two things: that you want the service to start immediately, and that you understand you will lose your automatic 14-day cancellation right once it does. If you have not asked us to start early, your 14-day cancellation right continues to apply.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you. In particular, the service must match its description, be fit for its intended purpose, and be of satisfactory quality. If it does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction, or a refund. These rights cannot be excluded or limited, and nothing in the Limitation of Liability section above affects them.

When we will give a refund

You cancel within 14 days and have not asked us to start your gallery early.
The service is faulty, not as described, or we are unable to provide the package you paid for, and we cannot reasonably fix the problem.

When a refund may not apply

Your event has taken place and the gallery has been used as intended.
You asked us to start the gallery immediately and acknowledged the loss of your 14-day cancellation right (your statutory rights for a faulty service still apply).
Issues caused by factors outside our control, such as your guests' devices or internet connection.

How to request a refund

Email hello@picplop.com or use our contact form with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 5 working days and to process approved refunds within 14 days, to your original payment method.

9. User Content

Users retain ownership of uploaded content but grant PicPlop a limited licence to store and display it solely to operate the service.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PicPlop is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident outside England and Wales, you continue to benefit from any mandatory legal protections of the country in which you live, and nothing in these Terms removes those protections.
